About Me
Where you can learn about Katherine's organizing background and her approach.
Even while growing up, I learned to organize whilst working in my father's shops. Organizing the back stock room was essential to ensure easy access to the items that needed refilling frequently, and making shop window displays and watching my Dad create different shelve fittings to creatively display items to look good and be easy for customers to reach was the first way I learned how to make the most of any storage space.
Then as an adult, for the next 20 years I enjoyed a fabulous career as a professional dancer & singer, where organization and easy access to all our costume accessories (like hats and gloves) was essential for quick changes during the show. Needless to say that was challenging, but has come in handy helping clients get out the door faster in the morning! When I retired from performing full time, I realized paperwork was not my forte. Studying this lead to teaching what I'd learned, and homing in on my space organizing skills, and I completed my certification from The Organizer's Club. I have been teaching these skills to people from all walks of life in California for several years. I also use my awareness as a dancer to find ways for people with disabilities or pain to reach their belongings with less strain to their body. I have a handy man who installs some fixtures if necessary (click here to see some examples of how I can make your belongings easier to reach.) There is nothing I love more than to help others, regardless of the task at hand – I’m a naturally caring person. To be that person who helps turn people’s despair into excitement, and their home or office into a nurturing space where they can relax or work more efficiently is very rewarding to me. I am also very understanding and do not pass any judgment based on the condition of your unorganized/messy areas. I also believe that one size doesn't fit all and will offer a variety of solutions and work with you to figure out which works best for you. - I will respect my clients, their spaces, and will remain non-judgmental throughout all interactions.
- I will only provide services in areas in which I am competent and knowledgeable.
- If other professionals are needed, I will do my best to connect you with qualified individuals and/or companies.
- All fees for services will be honestly represented and provided upfront.
Confidentiality
- Any and all client information will be held with the utmost of confidentiality and will not be shared with anyone.
- Client testimonials and/or photos will only be used with explicit permission provided by the client.
Fees
- Any and all fees associated with services will be provided upfront and never hidden.
- For any change in fee structure, a 60-day notice will be provided to existing clients and only effective towards new projects not within original agreement.
- I will not financially benefit from any services recommended.
